Attack

4.2. One of the few guys that was able to manufacture space for this side. Did well to navigate tight spaces and intense pressure and find some joy with the ball. That faded as desperation set in, though. His attempts to find space turned into lost possession that sent Bayern the other way.. CAM. FC Schalke. AMINE HARIT

4.1. Did great work with the ball after that Bayern opening goal to show some fight for Die Knappen. Fight they desperately needed after such a poor goal to surrender. Only had a few opportunities to flash that speed and never anything noteworthy. Yet another one to forget.. ST. FC Schalke. RABBI MATONDO

3.0. Completely anonymous. Does a lot of standing around. Not sure he actually sprinted a single time. Was never fed the ball over the top, so his ability to knock the ball down was completely lost. When he was taken off in the 57th minute, he might as well not have played at all.. ST. FC Schalke. MICHAEL GREGORITSCH

There are no player ratings for the substitutes. No one made a difference. But welcome back Weston McKennie!
