Midfield

OMAR MASCARELL. 4.2. Felt like he was our only midfielder at times, and not always in a good way. Seeing as how he was pretty much on his own to establish a midfield presence, I can’t come down on him too hard. Mostly because I know that when stacked up against the other midfielders, I trust Mascarell the most, he just had an impossible task.. CDM. FC Schalke

Worked really hard, but had trouble with Alphonso Davies and his speed/strength combination. Proceeded to disappear when the rest of the midfield disappeared, right about the 20 minutes mark when it was established that we had no midfield presence.. RM. FC Schalke. DANIEL CALIGIURI. 3.3
