Schalke 04 vs Augsburg predicted XI: Oh, sweet redemption

Attack
Without Amine Harit, David Wagner has a chance to really explore what he can do to build an attack around his creative starlet. Most of that will come from the midfield—trusting guys like Daniel Caligiuri and Suat Serdar to do more on that front, but incorporating Rabbi Matondo in the mix could spark the necessary changes too.
The real necessary change, however, is going to come from who else but Ahmed Kutucu, the man who needs to be freed. And with a two striker set, it’s time to break the confines of what we’ve grown too accustomed to and really try something new.
I love Benito Raman, but it’s time to rotate him out of the starting XI. Ahmed Kutucu is the answer there. Start him or suffer a riot.
Next to him, as poorly as he’s been since his debut, we have to give Michael Gregoritsch another shot. He was absolutely tremendous in that first match against Borussia Monchengladbach, and the allure of getting him back there would be enough inspiration to try him out again. Surely we can spark some kind of inspiration there.
