Milot Rashica

Werder Bremen’s struggles caused Milot Rashica to fall off the radar a little bit, but Bundesliga observers still know how good the Kosovo international is.

Rashica is one of the most devastating forwards in the game on the counterattack, and he still managed to score 7 goals with 4 assists despite mayhem around him. A skillful, clinical striker with plenty of pace, Rashica could be an ideal wide forward to support Benito Raman, giving Schalke two of the league’s most explosive attacking players.

Borussia Dortmund probably see Rashica as one of the ideal replacements for Jadon Sancho, though they have been linked to others, such as Real Madrid prospect Cesar Gelabert and Valencia’s sensational Ferran Torres.

That could make Rashica available for Schalke to steal away from Dortmund, as Bremen will almost certainly need to sell.

The issue is that the 23-year-old attacker is held in such high regard that it’s unlikely his price will drop enough for Schalke to be able to afford him. Currently, Transfermarkt has him rated as being worth 28 million euros. But between Rashica and Milik, the Werder star may be the more realistic – well, as far as dream targets go – option for Die Knappen.
