2. Denzel Dumfries

Get him now or miss out forever. Denzel Dumfries is not going to be flying under the radar much longer. Even with his value hovering around the £15m mark, he is tremendously undervalued for the amazing array of talents he brings to whatever club he ends up at next.

More from Release The Knappen

He’s as physically daunting as a centerback, as fearless as Sead Kolasinac, as good in the air as Salif Sane, yet he has the attacking aptitude to be tied with our top goal scorer. It’s incredible what Dumfries is doing over there at PSV and I want it at the Veltins.

Dumfries goal-producing numbers look like a quality wingers. This year he has seven goals and two assists. Last year he managed four goals and six assists. Go back to his time at SC Heerenveen and he had another four goals and seven assists.

Altogether, that’s 15 goals and 15 assists in three seasons in the Eredivisie. His contract is still good until 2023, but if a realistic price can be arranged, this is the kind of guy you do not want to miss out on.

Finally, No. 1.
