4. Mehmet Zeki Çelik

Schalke have had such good fortune with Turkish player lately, we might as well keep it in the country. Having struck gold with Ozan Kabak and Ahmed Kutucu, Mehmet Celik could be just another brilliant addition.

More from Release The Knappen

Currently on the books at Lille, Celik has the versatility to play both rightback and right wingback, which is a testament to the balance he strikes in his game between attacking and defending. Last year he managed a goal and five assists and he’s added two more assists this year. For Jonjoe Kenny, he’s managed a goal and three assists this year.

Celik has proven to be a better chance creator, he’s excellent at intervening on defense and reclaiming possession and statistically, he’s even a bit better at driving forward both threateningly and securely.

There’s a solution to be found in Celik, and at 23-years-old, he’s not just an investment in now, but in the future as well.

On to No. 3.
