CAM Amine Harit

Easily Schalke’s best player in the attack, Amine Harit once again tried to do whatever he could to spark the Royal Blues attack on Matchday 24 against Köln. Unfortunately, Harit’s initiative was not rewarded, as his team came up empty in the goals column yet again.

Harit needs to be world-class in order for this attack to awaken, as the Royal Blues’ offense has been abysmal over the past several weeks. Bayern have dealt with injuries all season long, but David Alaba and Alphonso Davies, in particular, have ensured that Die Roten’s back four remains tough to crack.

CB Jean-Clair Todibo

He’s been the best player on the pitch in a few of the games Schalke have struggled in, such as their goalless draw to Mainz a couple of weeks ago. Jean-Clair Todibo is a good bet to join Schalke permanently upon the conclusion of the season, barring FC Barcelona activating the immediate buy-back option.

An active center back who is good with the ball at his feet, Todibo will need to have the game of his life as a young defender against the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Philippe Coutinho, and Serge Gnabry. Those three are capable of scoring boatloads of goals.
