Schalke vs RB Leipzig predicted XI: Everyone loves an upset
By Josh Sippie
Attack
Okay, here goes the “willing it into existence” attempt. Because this attack needs to see some kind of change. Although, even if that change is just the return of Suat Serdar, I’ll still feel pretty confident that we can turn this flatness around.
But… for those who are less than convinced that will be enough… I want to believe, yet again, that Ahmed Kutucu will get his first Premier League start. His confidence is still riding high. He has to be released to the races. Otherwise we will keep wondering what could be instead of actually knowing for sure. Even if it doesn’t work, we have to find out.
So that’s my big thing. Sit Michael Gregoritsch and let Kutucu play. Please.
Elsewhere in the attack, Amine Harit will play the No. 10 role. He needs to get back into his best form as well, since he’s struggled recently with sloppiness.
Lastly, Benito Raman will round off the attack, hoping to find his way back into his goal-scoring ways. Though he’s plenty valuable even if he doesn’t score.
