FW Amine Harit
Schalke will push Amine Harit up the pitch against Bayer, and he’ll likely carve out chances for his teammates on his own. Harit is one of the best attacking midfielders in Europe as a whole, and he’s also one of the best attacking midfielders at pressing center backs into errors.
With star man Jonathan Tah suspended, Harit can embarrass the mediocre Sven Bender and the woeful Aleksandar Dragovic. Look for him to have at least one goal and one assist in a commanding display.
FW Benito Raman
While Benito Raman still needs to develop consistency, he has been Schalke’s best goal-scoring threat recently and has really emerged as a key player since returning from an injury. He scored a rocket last week and continues to work hard for his team to create chances. Raman and Harit have shown real chemistry.
