Front Three

Intelligent as always on the ball, but like Serdar, he struggled to really instigate anything on the attack in the early goings of the game. However, as we know about Harit, you just have to wait and it will happen. He made such a beautiful pass for the go-ahead goal to Serdar and it was nothing less than what you’d expect from Harit.. RW. FC Schalke. AMINE HARIT. 7.6

7.1. Always going to be a threat, either sneaky or powerful, and that was no different here. Has so much control, even when at full speed around the opposing touchline. He just needs to tidy up. Sloppy in possession and his passing was wayward. Makes him a hard guy to grade because you really do have to grade the good with the not-so-good.. LW. FC Schalke. DANIEL CALIGIURI

BENITO RAMAN. 8.0. What a strike. Seriously. That’s called capitalizing on your chances. He had space and he was not going to miss it. A thing of beauty. Also, can we talk about how much effort he puts in to pressure opposing keepers and defenders? Came off when he got tired, which, given his work ethic, is always going to be an issue, but another tremendous performance. More of him, please.. ST. FC Schalke

There are no ratings for the subs, though Ahmed Kutucu gets a shout for his work in the go-ahead goal.
