Central Midfield

7.2. Knows what to do with the ball and isn’t afraid to keep trying the same thing when it keeps working. That tenacity is always welcome as well. As always, there is always that risk of being a bit rash and over-eager, but overall, he’s got some sly cleverness he can call on in build-up. Just needs more guys to get on the same page.. CM. FC Schalke. WESTON MCKENNIE

FC Schalke. OMAR MASCARELL. 7.3. A bit sloppy with the ball early on, but so strong as always in the center of the pitch. Always there to make the clutch tackle, either sliding or staying on his feet, and it so often leads to counter attacks going in the Royal Blue way.. CM

SUAT SERDAR. 7.5. Struggled to get into the early going, which was a bit strange to see, and likely a contributing factor to why we couldn’t seem to find any attacking consistency early on. The intentions are always there, as he is quite a clever and eager player, but the final product was lacking this time around…. until he scored the winner from a beautiful counter attack. Much like in previous matches, he made up for a subpar performance with a clutch goal. So clinical.. CM. FC Schalke
