Wide Midfield

Wonderful service and a constant threat. Almost nailed a sizzler in the 24th but hit the post. His passing is still lacking that consistency, as he’s only completing about three-quarters of his passes, but the crucial moments are still well within his grasp. Just needs to tighten it up a bit, and that includes tidier touches.. RM. FC Schalke. DANIEL CALIGIURI. 7.5

8.7. Man of the Match. Simply tremendous. Never gives up on the play and it led to a fantastic solo-effort goal, more lovely set-up play reminiscent of his assist to Caligiuri against Dusseldorf, and an assist. Always clever with the ball, whether it’s delaying his touches just enough to let space open up, or using his speed to burst into the open pitch. Gets credit for the assist to Harit, though he didn’t really do much other than deliver a workable ball that arrived at the end of the line—Harit. So tidy in possession yet again as well. For someone as nifty with the ball, he doesn’t lose possession all that much either. Wonderfully taken on the goal. Tidy with the ball. So much speed. What more could you want? Dude never quits.. LM. FC Schalke. BENITO RAMAN
