4. Amine Harit is worth 100 million

There have been bizarre rumors swirling about how Amine Harit is worth only 20 million euros and could be a bargain signing for Liverpool. Harit would be a perfect fit in the attacking midfield for Jurgen Klopp due to his goal-scoring threat, creativity, dribbling skills, intelligence, and hard work as a presser in David Wagner’s system.

But Harit is worth far more than 20 million euros, as his qualities dictate. To Schalke, he’s worth 100 million euros. That’s not a far-fetched claim either. Compare the season he’s having to Kai Havertz and tell me which attacking midfielder you’d rather have, even acknowledging Havertz’s youth and own technical qualities.

Harit had another spellbinding performance at the Westerstadion, tearing the opposition to bits with his dribbling skills. He scored the opening goal, won four dribbles, drew two fouls, and consistently made smart passes.

He is in the conversation as the MVP of the Bundesliga to this point, right there with the likes of Robert Lewandowski and Marcus Thuram.

5. Suat Serdar can do it all

There may not be a better box-to-box midfielder than Suat Serdar in the Bundesliga, as Serdar has excelled in a way that even former Schalke superstar Leon Goretzka hasn’t at Bayern Munich.

Serdar had a vintage performance in Schalke’s 2-1 win over Werder, leading the team with five tackles and an additional two interceptions to boot. He also drew a team-high four fouls with two dribbles completed, showcasing his technical ability and dribbling skills on the ball.

The 22-year-old German international is one of the most well-rounded center midfielders in Europe, hence why the national team has consistently called him up over the breaks for European qualifying matches.

Serdar is both the future of Schalke and German football as a whole, providing tireless work in attack and on defense. The Royal Blues are lucky to have a player of his quality, and he was instrumental in this satisfying road victory.
