FC Schalke 04 never led the match until the 82nd minute, but the winner from Amine Harit is all they needed to defeat Augsburg on Matchday 10.

It was a cagey affair for FC Schalke 04 on the road in Augsburg, but David Wagner’s men were able to snag all three points. Every point is worth scraping for in the Bundesliga this season with so little separating the league’s top 10 teams. The Royal Blues won 3-2 behind an 82nd minute solo goal from Amine Harit, who capitalized off a woeful error from substituted Augsburg center back Reece Oxford.

Harit’s goal is his fifth of the Bundesliga season, and it puts Schalke in sixth place. They are tied on points with RB Leipzig, SC Freiburg, and Bayern Munich. The Royal Blues are also just one point behind second-place rivals Borussia Dortmund, whom they tied in last week’s Revierderby, and four points behind league leaders Borussia Monchengladbach.

Below are the full player ratings from Schalke’s 3-2 win, which did come at a cost as star center back Salif Sane went down with an early knee injury that could be severe. He joins Benjamin Stambouli and Matija Nastasic as center backs on the injury report for the Gelsenkirchen club.
